So glad you found them safe and sound. Why do our girls like to worry us so? Naughty chickens . No treats for them tomorrow.

Actually I gave them loads of treats when I put them back in their run - I wanted them to associate home with good things

 

This morning was a different matter. I didn't let them out until lunchtime and then only after I had put netting across the path that leads from 'their' part of the garden to the main back garden. They came out, checked I had nothing good to give them, and set off for the bird table - their first port of call each day to hoover up any fallen sunflower hearts. The looks they gave me when they found that their way was blocked by the netting said it all.

 

Now if only I could get them to understand that their freedom has been curtailed because they were naughty to go wandering
