4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

after becoming completely fed up of our chickens escaping when we let them out to free range in an area seperated by the omlet netting, simply by flying over it, we have decided to make a larger walk in run

after looking at the run inspiration thread, can anyone advise the best place to buy fox proof mesh for the sides???

My OH is making me a walk in run.I`ve been looking at Hills of Devon web site

but I dont know whether to get Aviary mesh or the netting. Is one better than the

other. Price wise the mesh is dearer than the netting.

You do need the aviary mesh. The netting is designed to keep chickens in or out, but not foxes. They can bite through that hexagonal mesh.

don't forget too that you can clip the feathers one one wing and that'll stop them flying

Could they be launching themselves off the top of the cube?

we clipped their wings after they started to jump over, and this didnt help, they still flew over. to start with they jumped straight over the netting onto the run, and then onto the floor, but now they just simply fly over the netting at any point
