4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

we have had our 2 ladies for 4 months now, and they started laying about 6 weeks ago.

we get about 10 eggs a week and have really developed a taste for them

Our relatives have also got a taste for them, and we are now ignoring the phone

 

We are now regretting getting 2 chickens and really think we need a third!!!!

 

Is it going to be a problem adding another chicken?

The short answer is yes, but it's not impossible. You will need a way to separate them and do introductions really slowly.

I hate to tell you but you may have more luck introducing 2 more.

i went for 2 new ones last week, and just threw them in together - it took about half a day for the pecking order to be sorted out and have had no real problems (apart from losing one today i.e missing not dead).
