It started with Willow, the Sussex Star, she sits on top of the glug and drinks from the top. Now most of the others do it. Does anyone else have this problem. The water and the glug get very dirty very quickly. There is someone on here that has designed a wonderful plastic cover to go over the superglug to stop them making it dirty but I cant think who it is I will try to find it. edited this is not the picture I was thinking of, but at a different angle, it's a perfect design I think. TAJ Posted January 20, 2009 Share Posted January 20, 2009 (edited) My layers have an upside down large pottery flower pot on top of which sits one of those upside down type water containers (it could also be hung up). This seems to do the trick. My 3 week old chciks had their water raised up, but were still pooing in it and getting bedding in it, so even fully cleaned every 12 hours was no good, so they now have a hanging water continer at neck height.
