buying 3 big bales of large woodshavings, putting it in the run with diatom liberally spread around. Add live mealworms and voila! very happy chickens

mine go bonkers in the aubiose when I scatter meal worms in there as well, although not live ones.. as of yet

any worm in their path is a gonner though..

I wouldn't change from aubiose now, not unless they literally had nothing in the shops, it's wonderful stuff and smells nice I think

Chicken people are easily pleased . That's not a criticism, I think it's great and know just what you mean .

I love to see my little Chooksters enjoying themselves, it gives me the greatest of pleasure and is a very good de-stresser when you get home from work. Roll on the Spring and the lighter evenings

Well, I've got back from work and looked out the patio doors to see that the little madams have had great fun today kicking a load of it out through the open run door and into their bit of the garden
