a few of our fellow allotmenteers seem to have these so we've ordered one. It'll be good for making lunch on and or boiling a kettle for a cuppa, oh yeah and getting rid of waste

saw them in our garden centre today for £29.99 (without the legs) Amazon have got them with the legs for just under £25 including delivery. I've had a good mooch on the net and that's the cheapest one I found.

I have two and they are the best things ever! I burn all sorts in mine (they are especially good to have when housetraining a puppy to get rid of the tons of wet newspaper!) I find that hard to recycle items like tetrapack cartons burn well in them as they get so hot

 

Money well spent!

They are really good burn everything and keeps it in one place. Never thought of boiling a kettle on one......may have a go...

But will have to buy a new one as the one i had fell to bits with all the use. Got lots to burn.

i was looking at these to turn into a cold smoker, with a tube coming from the 'chimney' into a cold smoking box.....anyone else tried it?

No but I bet it would work well as long as you got the joins snug! you would need some sort of frame to support the box I guess.

 

(Isn't a cold smoker something you see outside office buildings these days? )
