ails
Our Eglu arrived Saturday morning, was erected in record time and by mid afternoon we had selected 3 chickens and brought them home to take up residence. One thing I have been wondering about is the best way to give the chickens grit - I have just been sprinkling some on the floor of the run which they appear to have been pecking at but is it better to put in in a dish, mix it in with the pellets or possibly get another grub feeder from omlet to put it in? I await guidance from all those experienced chicken keepers out there
Mollystar
I throw a handful in with the pellets, some gets eaten & some left

PurpleTree
I got a little plastic feeder from Pets At Home, think it's meant to be for parrots, but it's got hooks on it so you can hang it on the side of the run. They haven't got it on their website otherwise I would've posted a link. My girls seem to like it.
Cooks
I have a little metal feeder attached to the run like poster above, and I also buy them corn with added oyster shell etc in it. I always have lovely hard shelled eggs.
