ubereglu
Molly came back into lay today, it was quite amusing as she couldn't quite work out where she wanted to lay, so she's now tipped out half of the shredded paper that was in the eglu nestbox and in the end decided to lay where she used to, at the back of the old compost heap-as pictured in my profile picture! However it is a lovely egg, although a bit muddy and bluer than I remember her eggs used to be! So, no I have three hens back into lay, we're just waiting for Spice. Ain't Nobody Here
Good news . Wonder if she'll work out what the nestbox is for eventually!

ubereglu
Good news . Wonder if she'll work out what the nestbox is for eventually! Well, last year she originally used the nestbox when she came into lay-for a week, then she laid in the garden. She later trained herself back into using the nestbox, but then we went on holiday and Muddles started to go broody and then she went back to laying in her corner, (the others joined her too-Sarah thought they were being lazy and then found a large clutch of eggs), the others went back to use the nestbox, but Molly liked where she was.
