4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Matilda has been going through a moult for nearly 4 weeks now. We have noticed her comb has gone paler in colour and she has white in her feathers. Does the white on her mean that it is the new feather growth coming through, cause I know the feathers have to uncurl. She is looking a bit bedraggled! she's only got a couple of tail feathers!!

 

Do you think she is over the worst or does it go on for longer yet? we missing her eggs too

The feathers are furled up in a little white casing and can look decidedly odd when they start to emerge. It sounds as if this is what is happening.

Thanks egulantine, I think that's what it is. She looks like a porcupine that's had a trim! round the neck area.
