Yesterday we found our hen playing with a frog and we went to get it off of her and she ran off with it!!! Today she keeps opening her beak and we believe she has the frog stuck in her!!! Egluntyne Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 They often eat frogs. Have feel and see if it is very large. Unless she seems in obvious distress, I'd leave well alone. If she does, a visit to the vet might be in order. I think the massage etc that is usually recommended for an impacted crop might do more harm than good in this case, with it being one large solid object.
