Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

Please can someone help as we are unsure what we need to do.

 

Yesterday we found our hen playing with a frog and we went to get it off of her and she ran off with it!!! Today she keeps opening her beak and we believe she has the frog stuck in her!!! Is there anything we can do to help?

Have seen posts of other peoples chooks eating frogs and coming to no harm... Does her crop feel full?

Hope your girl will be okay and that someone will be along soon with some words of wisdom.

They often eat frogs. Have feel and see if it is very large. Unless she seems in obvious distress, I'd leave well alone. If she does, a visit to the vet might be in order. I think the massage etc that is usually recommended for an impacted crop might do more harm than good in this case, with it being one large solid object.

it is in her crop but it was a small frog, maybe she is still digesting it.
