chrisevans1001
Hi, My garden is enclosed by 6ft fence all round, the fence is mounted on a wall as the garden is actually raised. Therefore the only way in for the fox is over the fence. I was looking at the fence spikes available, mainly these plastic brown ones: http://www.taylorsgardenbuildings.co.uk/store/customer/product.php?productid=16739 Do you think they would deter a fox from going over the top if I ran it all the way round? Thanks.
Egluntyne
It is worth a try, but a fox is a very determined creature. They will deter two legged predators though. I'd be interested to hear how you get on with these.
chrisevans1001
Yes, the other side of the fence, for the most part is more like 8ft tall due to the difference in the ground level. So I'm hoping that's a reasonable deterrent, combined with these... hmmm. Anybody actually used these for this purpose? I've read a couple of reviews which they they have stopped foxes entering the garden.. not sure though.
Happy chickens!
Ooh, very interested to know if this any good - was wondering about barbed wire, but this looks better all round. Let us know how you get on.
