Went out this morning to find my eglu had turned into an igloo !!

Yesterday my two wouldn't venture out, but this morning I've dug the snow away from the eglu, and paths and they're both out having snowball fights and building snowmen. lol

going into town now to buy them a sledge!

Our eglu was changed into an igloo only 2 days after it was placed in our garden! We were out on Monday morning to hold the chickens before we let them into the run & they were looking over the edge of my arms making fab chicken confused noises as they stared at the ground in amazement.

 

They had already spent most of Sunday in the eglu as they were getting a bit blown about. So they were not pleased with the snow! I was home by lunchtime on Monday (sent home due to snow! Yipee!) & fastened an old sheet to the top of the run, so they were a bit protected from the snow & took it off today due to lack of snow!

 

They were much more settled today, even coming out in the cold hail/rain combination.
