bleeding comb - help pls

Recommended Posts

ok so I was too hasty with the intros!

I took the chooks lead & let the Orpies out for a wander & to meet the trio.

Ok so far, I threw a handful of corn fairly widely so they were distracted, next thing I know Snowdrop & one of the blues are bouncing off one anothers chests.

I put my hand of each of their backs - S submitted instantly, the blue went back for a peck of her comb & now it's bleeding!

I've wiped it with teatree in warm water & syringed a drop of purple spray on it - can't spray too close to her eye.

the bleeding is slowing, should I keep her indoors in a box or put her back with her sisters, she's on my lap at the mo?

Need to check the blues too!

Thoughts please

Added - I am now sporting a very fetching purple freckled look! I've put her back with B&B as she's getting a bit het up indoors, will keep an eye on her. The blues are both fine (no idea which one did the attack, must get coloured rings on their legs so I can see which one is which!!)

The bleeding has now stopped thankfully! She's much happier having gone back with her "sisters", they are hankering for snacks now at the back door - normal service has been resumed  .

I've just had a call from a friend to say DD is playing in a match, so as the chooks are settled I think I'll whizz over for a short while. The Orpies are going to be less than impressed at being shut in their cube run while I'm out, but too bad!

I'll put another dose of purple spray on when I get home, then before she goes to bed.

By the way, I discovered that if you rub purple spray freckles with almond oil, they lift quite a bit, so I no longer look as though I have a bruise under my left eye, freckles down my right cheek, a purple mole in my left eyebrow and a dribble on my chin  !!!

Thanks for your advice as always,

Sha x
