I have a colleague who uses value eggs for baking and free range eggs for 'eating'.

It alwyas upsets me when I see people in the supermarket with battery eggs. I too really want to say something, but never do I am to say.

 

That is one of the reasons I do almost all of my supermarket shopping at the Co-op. All their eggs are free range. It's a bit pricier but their ethics are more sound than most supermarkets, though I am disappointed to see how many of their products contain palm oil. If you saw Orangutan Diaries recently, you'll know just how devastating palm oil farming is to wildlife habitats.

 

I really must write to them about it.
