we ordered several items back on 1st Jan including several varieties of potato which stated on the web site "delivery from December onwards". It's almost time to start chitting and we've heard nothing from them.

 

I rang up and they said they've had problems with their suppliers and will check and ring me back

 

I hope we're going to get our order, I'm a bit worried now.

 

Anyone else had any problems with them?

I've never had a problem with them poet, mind you with the weather the way it has been there could have been problems with supply, I hop things sort out for you in time

I have had problems with them in the past and I found them so difficult to deal with that I won't order from them anymore.

My mum ordered some seeds from them a few weeks ago and they all arrived last week-now she can start growing veg for summer . Also she got a free tree from them(not sure why) which came a few days ago.

 

Hope it gets sorted soon

I got some free raspberry canes from them - arrived this week but requested ages ago. Can't complain too much though as they were free. I'd guess the weather might be causing problems.

My apple trees last year said 'from Feb' and were actually delivered late March due to it being too wet to dig them up - but they only told me that when I rung up - they never told me they would be delayed.

I was a bit put out that I had to ring to find out why the order was delayed but I guess that's what you get when dealing with a large company They did at least phone back to advise me that some of the order is coming next week and the rest the week after.

 

They do have good prices and we are also getting free potatoes and onions so I'll bear with it

I had problems with my potatoes as well - i ordered a set from Grow your own magazine which stated 28 day delivery. that was back in October - they arrived a couple of weeks ago. Aldo - I had a load of seeds arrive on my doorstep. I hadnt ordered them so phoned up - they had mixed my customer n umber up with someone elses. They were sent back in a pre paid envelope. Then a few weeks later I got a plant with a note of more to come - I hadnt ordered them either. It seems they were part of the same order but the seeds dept hadnt bothered to tell the plant nursery in Jersey! I was allowed to keep that one! Needless to say I am not impressed with their organisational skills at all
