Recommended Posts

HI

I have been looking at some of the second hand eglus and due to distance if i was to pick it up , can anyone confirm length of the eglu run and is it easy to remove from an eglu ie to transport it(silly question as this site is always answered so quickly thanks)??

I dont want to drive a long way to find it wont fit in the car(I have an estate VW golf..)

thanks

Thank you this should be easier now for me to find one..have been waiting for one to come up nearer to my area but if it will go in the car and the seller can check the run will come off easily hey presto! Its about time I got my self one of these.

An Eglu should fit in an estate fine, put the Eglu in first then put the run sections over it as the run is curved and will take up all the room otherwise!

Take a phillips head screwdriver and some WD40 (in case those screws have rusted)

To fit in the car take the top off the Eglu and put the two main parts in separately but as if they were attached together as its easier to handle the two separate parts

The run clips come apart well if you use a coin, put coin in slot and turn to loosen the clip without pinging your fingernails across the garden :D

Best of luck, my Eglu is the best £250 I have ever spent!

What kind of car do you have?

My Eglu an run fitted into my Fiat Punto just fine but little bros was a squeeze in dad`s Focus as there is not as much height!

Now if you have a BMW coupe DO NOT TRY AND GET THE EGLU IN! Well I should say you can put it in but it will get wedged and may take a while to get out again. Little bro Palmer06 did this and I didn`t laugh too much!
