4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hi,

 

I realise this is a bit of a long shot but does anyone living near the Teddington/ Twickenham area happen to have Omlet netting spare that i could use for one day? I am happy to pay for use, and can return it within a day.

 

I've ordered some and it still hasn't turned up and the one day I need it for is tomorrow when I have new french windows fitted.

 

I don't want to trust the fitters to remember to shut the gate which leads to a main road, or also fall over them squash them under a heavy window being carried etc, or the hens deciding that curoisity means they have to come into the house.

 

I could keep them in their run but they scream blue murder if they're left in there and Lottie the bully pecks Ophelia to pieces (despite Ophelia being twice the size of her)

 

Failing any being not in use in the close proximity - any ideas as to what makes a good temporary substitute, from homebase etc.

If you're wanting something cheap, you could try fruit netting strung between garden canes. I bought some from Ebay (really cheaply) and use it to try to keep foxes/cats out of the garden. So far so good .

I'm based in Hampton Hill and have a (eglu) run and converter you can borrow if you like?

 

We built a walk in run for our chickens and the run/converter are just sitting by the shed in case we need them to go and stay elsewhere!

 

If it's of any use, let me know and you can collect tonight...
