I went to check the girls water in their run and on the floor was a splayed out dead frog . It was about 6-7'' laid out flat but how on earth it got into the run!!!! there are some small gaps but at the most 1/2 '' been wondering all day how it got in there obviously wasn't a good choice on the part of the frog

could you or your husband have trodden on it and brought it in on a bottom of a boot or something?

I think some frogs burrow below the frost line in soil over winter to hibernate, so that frog may have been there all winter and come out of hibernation to a nasty surprise!
