Hi.

 

A while ago we resued 2 of the chicks that were involved in a lorry crash in sussex.

 

Since they are about ready to start going outside we thought it best to get them inoculated. however our local vets dont stock any of the vaccines as buying them they come in min 100 doses.

 

Does anyone know what we need and where to get it from.... not 100 doses of it, there are only 2 of them. And if i get 100 doses i know my wife will use it as an excuse to pick up 98 more chicks!

As the vaccines come in large quantities most hybrids will have been fed vaccinated food when they were young as they are bred in large quantities

 

Most pure breeds have not been vaccinated and are completely fine

 

Vaccination is not a necessity

 

I wouldnt worry about your chicks, well done for rescuing them
