Am just about to order an Eglu but I will want to move it around the place. Lucky chooks will have an orchard to roam about in when there's someone at home, but will have to stay in the run when we're out. Is the run and house easy to move on your own, I want them to have fresh grass as much as possible? I'm excited but also a bit nervous having never had them before.

I find my Eglu easy to pull and rotate to a new position but impossible to push. A large area is definitely an advantage.

Very easy!

 

Put it this way - I am 5'1" and weigh 7.5 stone wringing wet and I have no problem at all moving it.

 

You may find that you want to keep them on a permanent spot though.

I found it dificult as I have a long narrow garden, width to move it woulf have been fine though

If you've got space to move it, it should be pretty simple to do on your own. You just lift one end and swing it round and then swing the other end round too if you want to!
