leopardstar
Totally out of the blue one of my pekin bantums is being really picked on by another one. They've been together 7 months and I've never had any problems. The one being bullied wont come out of the house so I've put food and water in there for her. Is there any way of stopping the bullying?
Christian
I would get hold of some anti peck spray from a pet shop and give her a good dosing. It tastes vile and should stop the bully after a few pecks. You could try tea tree oil mixed with water instead as that tastes awful as well. Plus it is antiseptic if she has been pecked badly. Is the bantam well otherwise? If they are poorly, the others will sometimes pick on them. Give her a good checking over to see if anything is amiss. You could hanging up half a raw cabbage/or a peckablock to try and break the habit and distract them Hope they settle again soon
