Cinnamon
Bummer on missing out. I have my Mastercard flexed & ready for Reading Festival tickets which are on sale soon. Not for me, but the daughter & her mate are weekending it this year, but not camping as we live so near

(I've led a very sheltered life & have never wanted/been to a festival.....is that sad ?) Sha x
Snowy
You are all making me I've never been to a festival but would love to go (there is NOWAY OH will go with me) Do you think teenage son might go with me one day?
little chickadee
What music are you into Snowy? I'm a big fan of smaller festivals (eg Cambridge and Shrewsbury), but then I'm a folk/ accoustic fan, so that's handy!

I'm a big fan of smaller festivals (eg Cambridge and Shrewsbury), but then I'm a folk/ accoustic fan, so that's handy! I'm pretty much into anything, but do prefer loud and lively! I spent many an hour during my mispent youth sat in smokey pubs listening to acoustic and folksy type stuff (much of it in a blur I must admit ) and also loved that. Music is just so different when heard live isn't it?

Come with us to Reading then I might just be tempted depending what the line up is I don't want to be the only over 30 there The rumors are for The Arctic Monkeys/ Radiohead/ Foo Fighters/My Chemical Romance/Kaiser Chiefs on various days, plus Elbow,Pigeon Detectives,Kings of Leon etc I happen to know that one headline is a definite as my little bro is mates with the drummers brother & he confirmed it when they were playing golf last weekend - can't say who though...... Oooh, Cinnamon, thank you, I am so tempted - but it's not feasible sadly (not this year anyway ). Looks a great line up though - would really like to see Kaisers, and Elbow! Guest
OK V tickets went on sale at 10 am this morning. I didn't bother as I barely broke even selling them last year and I couldn't go as I had a cruise booked and would be away that weekend. I would have gone for a Saturday ticket as the Specials and the Ting Tings are playing Hylands on Saturday. I got home and Mum was on the phone. We got an offer from Cunard for Transatlantic crossings. Bottom line is we have now CANCELLED the med cruise as we've booked a transatlantic crossing on QM2 instead. Of course the V tickets are SOLD OUT. Now I'm going to have to keep an ear to the ground for someone who wants to offload a Saturday ticket. I'm so MAD!
