Two of our 6 chooks are now laying but the others aren't quite. As they are eating lots of slugs and worms and the ground is very wet I wanted to start the Flubenvet but is this too early for their age, or can you start anytime?

We had to worm ours just before they were laying.

 

I am not sure how old they should be before worming though, if there is a minimum age.

Not sure how old your girls are, but Flubenvet can be given from as early as 5 weeks.

They're about 25 weeks and two are laying, one of which seems a bit peaky, open-mouthing sometimes, scraggy-looking (possible moult).

However, she'll push the other five out of her way for food and treats, her eyes are bright and her tail's up...

 

A bit like her "mum"!
