Cinnamon
in Aldi yesterday - £1.19 each. And they are nice & 'fluffy' too, not all squished down like some I have had before. They are fairly narrow so I am putting 2 on a shelf, toms in the one behind & lettuce in the front. They had nice sized bags of seed compost for 99p too
Redwing
I got some of the seed compost and have been surprised by the apparent quality of it
Lesley
We haven't got an Aldi nearby In one of the magazines I was reading (Home Farmer or Country Smallholder) they said that you can stand grow bags on their long, narrow side, instead of flat,if you don't have much space to put them. Sounds like a good idea - especially for toms as you will have a deeper rooting area.

T'was HF as I was reading that on Friday night, I was quite taken with the idea of cutting the top of the growbag so it folds in half & hanging it over a fence, would keep things out of beaks reach!!
