My big girls managed 8 eggs out of the 8 of them today - pretty good when one is semi retired & one has just had a moult

Waiting for our first egg - but Flo definitely crouched today! Never realised patience could be such a difficult virtue

Congratulations! I'm still waiting for 2 out of 2! Ruby last laid at the beginning of November - moulted and looks gorgeous with her new feathers but no crouching and no laying

Wow - you must have loads of eggs - I have a skelter full and I only have 3 girls and we ate and used 5 eggs to-day already.

Yesterday we got a proper full house .......13 out of 13, meaning that all the banteenies are back in lay too

 

Again this is made even more special as my oldest hen Daisy is in semi retirement & lays maybe an egg a fortnight now.

 

Happily I also sold 3 boxs from the door yesterday, so am not drowning in eggs
