Single hen

I just got home and went up to give the girlies some broccoli and spotted an egg on the floor, it was cold so must have been there a while...

 

Is this OK? Do you think one just got caught short? Any ideas?

We had one on Saturday - quite strange just to see it there right by the run door! Probably caught short.

Snap, so did we, but it was yesterday. It had the tiniest little hole in too, so once the small child who was visiting at the time had scooped it up, I whipped it straight indoors & into a cake!
