chick wiggle
hi everyone, very new to the whole chicken thing, just got my chucks today and theyre settling into my gorgeous purple cube as i type! one (at least think its only one) of them has done some lurrvly hugh sloppy bright yellow poos though. Is this normal or should i be worried?

Egluntyne
Welcome to the forum. The poos you describe are quite normal when hens first arrive in their new home. They are reckoned to be stress related and settle pretty quickly as a rule. Keep them on just pellets and water for a few days. That should do the trick. Yolky
I have to say I found the amount/smell/sloopyness of the poo in the first 2 weeks terrible and I did begin to wonder what I had taken on. However it did settle down an I am totally smitten with the girls now and wonder how we did without them
