Well my feet survived.........

Recommended Posts

But my legs and voice didn't!

Yes! I've been on the Omlet stand at the Ideal Home Exhibition with a lovely girl called Kate. I've been talking chicken ALLLLL day and it was brilliant!

I lost count of the amount of times I removed bits of Eglu and Cube and replaced them to show how easy peasy it is. Met some lovely people who might be joining the chicken lover world.

Looking forward to being there again on Monday.

It's fun, isn't it? I'm glad your feet are OK.

We were thinking of going to the Ideal Home (as customers this time) next weekend but things are shaping differently and we might have to miss it... shame because we've got tickets, so perhaps we just move it to next weekend instead.

Did you get any bits and pieces? it's amazing what you can find on the way to and from breaks...

Shame you can't go this weekend. There are some interesting stands. I bought a silk scarf for a friend's birthday on Saturday and some honey covered macaedamia nuts. Every time I went past the cheese stand I sneaked a piece of 'amber mist' - cheddar cheese with whiskey in it. Yum!

The best part about walking round the exhibition wearing an exhibitor's pass is that the other exhibitors don't hasstle you with their demos. they just look at you with commiseration - it's a long hard day!

I nearly ended up with your pass Anna as they couldn't find mine. It turned up in the end. I just have to remember to take it with me on Monday.

Well done you! Was it busy at all, Sunday wasn't too bad but apparently it's not been that good in the week, maybe the Easter Hols will liven it up a bit. I could have spent a fortune too - just as well I haven't got one! :D And my voice didn't survive either, all croaky the following day. I'm there again on Sunday, taking a packed lunch and a flask this time! And I'll see if I can sneak a bit of that cheese too, sounds fab

It was a bit busier yesterday, we had quite a steady stream of people until around 3 and then some little flurries of activity later on. It tailed off around 7.30. Kate did the first day and said it was very quiet and some of the other exhibitors said that the show was the quietest they had ever known it.

We took about 6 orders and loads of other people saying they were definately interested and would have a look at the website.

Good luck on Sunday Beckyboo. At least you know what to expect now! - I took some strepsils and locketts on the advice of another Omleteer in an earlier post.

I understand it is quiet - I've been offere free tickets three times in the last 2 days - I have actually signed up for some and may go on Tuesday. I was supposed to be there with Omlet on Saturday but I couldnt get a babysitter having stuffed up Mums holiday dates!

Of course I shouldn't go at all, minding my signature - I've decided if I do go I'll just take the money from my Sunday Hen party and stick to that.

I told myself that I would not need to go to the gym after hauling the roof off the Eglu for the umpteenth time!

What amazed me was how quickly the time went!
