I'm over on the mainland next weekend and would like to pick up some of the battery hen food since the local feedstore was more then rubbish, but as I'm not "local" i need some recommendations.

 

I will have a sat nav, and will have to rely soley on directions if poss!

Flytesofancy sell the Smallholder Feeds Range, Exbatt food pellets and mash. It's at Pulham Dorchester (they have a website for directions) but might be too far for you!

I have no idea if its out my way since I don't really know which way I'm going!!!

 

I am traveling from the ferry (not sure which port) to Maidstone, and back agan over Easter, so if the sat nav can find it and its not hours of a detour, its an option!!

Faversham feeds is very good and has alot of stuff. It's not that close to maidstone but it's not toooo far in the general scheme of things about half an hour. They ordered the Ex bat feed in for me and they also do various different other feeds and bits and bobs as well.

I'm hoping to get 2-3 bags of the crumb i think, my girls are used to pellets, but I think they'd prefer the crumb?

i think the crumbs quite good, it's what my girls like anyway . if you want more than one bag i'd ring and get them to order it in specially . If you end up with the faversham place they also do Mite powders and horse beding aswell.
