stellabystarlight
Hi I have three hens but one is a Welsumer and she lays the most beautiful brown eggs, but recently they have been coming out two toned. the normal brown colour at the round end but more beige at the pointy end. Is this normal? What can cause this? Any advice/help gratefully recieved, Stella.
Plum
I think it is normal to get odd colouring sometimes. I've had shaded eggs which are normal inside and next day back to normal.
Ain't Nobody Here
I sometimes get that too. Two tone eggs or a darker shaded end. Milly's eggs have even started getting paler making it harder to tell hers from Molly's .
