Anybody else had glug problems?

My glug that came with my cube has broken and does not keep the water in as leaks so all the run is wet and the chickens thirsty as I am at work so cant keep refilling it and the small bowl I have put in there.

I have emailed Omlet so I am sure it will be sorted.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Yeah itsa superglug and I now know which 'nipple' it is and its now really coming out but I have had no choice other than to put it in this morning with a bucket under it as at work.

I feel like a bad chicken mummy as when i went ot let them out this morning I put a bowl in with water and they all went to it and didnt stop til it was empty.

I will call them later.

I am wondering if a normal glug would be better?

I have switched to a glug from super glug for the same reason (leaking nipple) but am not happy as the water in the glug just gets filthy and I think it must be bad for the hens ?

Its a mixture of standing on the glug and kicking easibed into the glug that does the damage, but I am not sure how to avoid that.

I am thinking of going back to the super glug (though the girls prefer the glug) so i may have to ask for some new nipples :D:shock:

Mine leaked so put bowl under to catch water then when iced up part of one nipple broke so my OH screwed it down so two worked and I put it low so they could drink out of the top but they just kept sitting on top and it was filthy. I changed to a 5 L bell drinker put on a few bricks and am pleased with that.

I ought to ring Omlet just haven't got round to it. :D
