i just got my first egg yippy.

 

It was from my white pekin bantam its very white. i know it isn't her first. She arrived late on sunday.

 

We still awaite our first egg from our first chickens, the big girls, they are about 18 weeks now. and gwen is acting strangely, i hope it is sign of first egg and not illness.

I did dance, but i'm not sure how the egg dance goes, i hope the neighbours didn't see, they have got family over too, and some of them in the garden. they all think i'm nuts anyway.

it got broke

I was very sad that first egg got broken, but i'm very pleased to say i've just gone to look and there was another lovely little egg. the last 1 was 31g and this one 36g. i think i'm going to fry it. What do most people do with their first egg?

We fried our first egg . That way you can see the yolk and everything (and it was easier to divide into 4, one bite each ).

I kept mine for a while just to keep looking at it. I have dropped one as well and broken one in my pocket Surprised they keep laying.
