Guest
Is it ok to just scatter a bit of grit in WIR I have concrete pad and left 1ft soil around edge and they have spent a lot of time on the soil searching around. Half WIR is covered so dry..do u think this would be ok just to sprinkle it . thanks for any advice indie

muzzie
I have separate treat cups attached to the run with mixed granite grit and oyster shell for them. They pick out what they want.

I do both, scatter and tub on side, adds to the hentertainment factor.

Guest
When the grub arrive perhaps i wil put a bit in that but as u say i scattered some around this morning which they seem happy to keep them occupied..they prefer to be looking around in the ground..so it scattering seems best.. In the afternoon like now they are looking at me as if what are u going to do for us now! More food! They are no trouble at all and the bluebell that i nearly didnt get..is really the friendliest and most nosey of the lot..she nearly ate out my hand last night...she is a great big bird thanks indie
