Poo help please!

[miffy]

Hi, we are hoping to buy a cube tomorrow (secondhand). I seem to remember that it comes to pieces, can anyone point me to where I can find out how it comes apart and what tools I will need please.

I have never seen a cube in the flesh before so have no idea how it arrives or comes apart.

I'm really exceitited........must get on with the new base, feeling more enthusiastic again now!!!

you'll need a philips screwdriver.

[miffy]

thanks Bron, have rummaged in OH tool box and found one . Do you have any advice on dismantleing a cube? shall I unscrew everything with a screw? sorry stupid questions but I really dont want to come home and not be able to get it all back together. Is the run in 2 halves like on eglu?

Theres a thread above... '1st Cubes'...the last few pages show cubes in bits and various stages of assembly.

[miffy]

thanks thats very helpful!!

Hi Miffy,

the person that sold me my cube last week gave me a detailed instruction manual as the cube itself was already dismantled. I could scan it in for you and send if you like.

[miffy]

Ahhh, perhaps the person I am buying from will have the instructions(hadn't thought of that ) if not it would be greatif you could scan it in thanks. Hoping to pick it up at 5pm

[Ain't Nobody Here]

Ms Marple posted this picture of a cube she bought from Bellekatz . Shows how flat it all is . Good luck today .

[miffy]

thanks ANH, very reasuring

[Ain't Nobody Here]

Hope you don't mind me quoting you from the other thread, Ms Marple . Just noticed you said there's no run in the car - hope that doesn't mess up your plans, Miffy .

Hi Cookie - it is already on I think (but for an entire eglu and its run) thanks to Jules! This is still a Ford Fiesta but there is no run for the cube as I am having a WIR. I don't know if the run comes apart. If it does I couldhave squeezed it in with careful packing I reckon

[Ms Marple]

No I don't mind - still learning at this end!! However ANH, Claret commented that the cube run packs flat so she thought it would fit in! Originally I got and eglu in plus its run which does not collapse.

[miffy]

ITS HERE!!!!!!!

we took 2 cars just to be sure

Mark had already dismantled it, thanks Mark

Luckily as well as hundereds of bits we have the assembly instructions.

Sadly, not sure when will be able to put it all together, visitors arriving tomorrow looking forward to seeing them, but,..........want to ge Cube assembled. Plan to put Primrose in cube alone for a couple of weeks and the try to re intoduce the other girls to her in the cube, THEN.......more girlies..............

[Ms Marple]

We shall have to compare notes as we go along. What colour is yours?

[miffy]

Our cube is green to match our eglu.

I bought it through the forum, should I mark it as sold or leave that to the seller?? Mods??

Have you put yours together yet?

Hi when my cube arrived to day I did stay to see how it all went together in case i ever moved house!!

wheels went on first and the triangle bracket on either side at the front of cube got put on first and it was done so quickly..when the triangle bracket was put on Roy just put one screw in loosely first to line it all up before tightening it.

He seemed to put it all into place before tightening anything up..the other thing was the roof has to go forward and clip on to the rail inside(can see how easy it is to de connect that). He did have a bit of pulling and shoving to line it all up at times but not anything drastic.

good luck
