Jules. Posted April 15, 2009 Share Posted April 15, 2009 Today is day 18 of the hatch I am confused as to when to stop turning them, should it be today or tomorrow? So far I have turned them 3 times today, I have been turning them 5 times/day all through the incubating time. feemcg Posted April 15, 2009 Share Posted April 15, 2009 I do it late at night on the 18th day, fill my 2nd trough with water, don't touch the temp as it goes down slightly when I open the vent a bit more (I read professional hatcheries stop turning at 18 and a half days, so that's why I do it that way ).
