clear tarpaulin, to cover eglu

Recommended Posts

I think there are some online companies that do it,....or ebay.

You could use a clear shower curtain? In the winter we used clear perspex and it was much better than a shower curtain but I would suspect in the summer the perspex would make it very warm in the run.

I bought some glass clear tarpaulin for my walk in run from here. Very pleased with it, it really is glass clear!

When I had an eglu run I used B&Q corrugated plastic sheets - 2 cost about £12 and they withstand gale force winds if held on with bungee ropes :) . (The plastic sheeting I used previously ripped in the first gusts of wind we had  .)

Found this recent post for you about tarpaulin.

I have the same as ANH with the clear corrugated plastic (I got from Wickes £6 x 3).

I've only used it over winter and it was great. Last summer I had a shower curtain plus Omlet shades. We seemed to have lots of rain last summer and I was always jumping out to the garden and pulling on the shower curtain under the bungees, which I guess is easier to do than pulling out the corrugated stuff.
