yesterday I planted..

broad beans

dwarf runner beans

rooster potatoes

horseradish

peas

2 yellow begonias bulbs

1 red pom pom dahlia tuber

1 large pink dahlia tuber

dwarf sunflowers

Also got some mini tomatoes in the greenhouse, not germinated yet

rosemary - not germinated

geraniums - not germinated

morning glory - strong little seedlings (blue trumpet flowers & climbers)

1 lonely tomato plant - money maker

4 tumbling tom tomato plants - need potting on

cress seed started yesterday for the chooks.

I'm not doing too bad am I? :anxious:

I fancy horse radish too.

This week I've planted

potatoes,

parsnips

beetroot

radish

onions

garlic (about 10" high - been in modules for ages)

I'm hoping to plant out tomatoes, broad beans, strawberries, cabbages plus more pots over the weekend that are sitting waiting in the shed.

Got scalloped squash, courgettes, pumpkins, chillies, runner beans, beetroot (grown from seed in modules to put in as plugs so they've got a head start on the seeds just planted out) and dwarf beans growing on in the shed

Actually though - I dont think I have got anything like enough space to plant everything out ... :?

In my experience Cathy, once you've got horse radish you'll have it forever! I have it, keep digging it up and it still comes back.

And it's an absolute beggar to grate, I'd rather buy those handy little jars that someone else has done! Don't let me put you off though, it is VERY easy to grow.

I very proudly planted some cabbages, cauliflower and brussels sprouts on BH Monday. Sadly, the girls found them this morning and they are no more (the plants, not the girls - tho' some bad thoughts about the chooks did briefly cross my mind  ) I had thought I had protected them well enough - will have to try again...
