kerrie
Hello, I have 3 big girls in a and have 'won' a rablu from ebay and I'm going to get the kit to convert it back to an eglu-how many pekin bantams can I have in an eglu?
Patricia W
I have three Polish bantams ( about the same size as a Pekin I think) in an eglu with a standard run. One is a cockerel so a bit bigger than normal. There is loads of space in the eglu, ( I reckon you could get 5/6 in easily but the size of the run and access to free ranging needs to be considered. Mine free range all day because they began to bully one when left in the standard run. I should work out how much free-ranging they will do in making the final decision - or consider whether you buy an extension or build a WIR to put the eglu in. Janty
I have had six bantams including pekins in an eglu but I did have a convertor and extension on as well.
