Not really sure which forum this should go in, but it involves chickens so plumped with this one....please feel free to move it mods if it is better somewhere else!!

 

Basically, am wanting to offer a chicken sitting service, currently people would need to provide their own eglu, but next month i am hoping to invest in one as a holiday home for my girls, so when it was not needed this could be used for holidays chooks with us or hired out to those in need.

 

I have seen some others on here have created websites/blogs to advertise this service and i would like to create one of my own.

 

However....should i create a full blown website, would a blog be sufficient? I am hopgint to expand this further afield than just the omlet crowd so don't want something that looks too amanteurish.

 

Also - need a creative name to call my 'hen sitting service' and am failing to come up with anything very eggciting!!

 

Any ideas much appreciated!!!

A **Weebly** website is dead easy to create and is free!

 

Don't expect to be able to give up your day job if you offer this service.

To be honest...the reason i want to do it is that we feel that getting more chickens ourselves is not the right option for us....but there is no harm in enjoying other peoples whilst they are away!

 

I know how much we worry when we go away and leave our girls as well so hopefully people knowing they are with someone else who loves chickens as much as them will leave them a little happier in the knowledge their girls will be safe.
