Well, I finally got it fitted at the weekend, after much too-ing and fro-ing; the first one delivered was missing some of the plastic coating, so I called Gwen at the mothership and they were fine about popping over to exchange it. Phil did it for me while I was away and said that most of them had 'some' plastic coating missing; apparently it's down to the way they are dipped so be sure to examine yours carefully when you get it.

 

Easy peasy to fit and I used to opportunity to fettle the run while the front was off.

 

The new door is twice the height with two' fastening sticks' and it's also quite a bit wider, so really easy to reach in or get into the run. I am very pleased with it just a shame that it was so long in the hatching.

We've had ours a few weeks now and what a difference - I agree that it is a shame it took so long to change.....still at least we have it now.
