Tulip Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 Our little Cream Legbar has sadly passed while we are away on honeymoon. She always had a slightly blue-tinged comb and it seemed to be a little worse before we left. We knew this indicated a weak heart as Redfrock's Bron had the same. The in-laws texted yesterday to say that she didn't make it through the night (we knew she hadn't been eating the previous day). She had a happy life and was well in herself and she had a few weeks of enjoyment in the new WIR in more sunshine than they got in the cube run. Just a shame she didn't get a summer with us. We couldn't really have asked for a better way for her to go - no illness, no fox and the sun on her back. We'll get her ashes back and plant a bush in the new run for her.
