mand and family
Hi everyone I just wondered about xeno 200 and internal worms. I need to treat my girls for lice and I wondered if it will treat worms aswell or will I still need to treat later with flubenvent. OR can I give flubenvent at the same time? Sorry if any spelling is wrong!. Can anyone tell me if there is a spell check on here?
Egluntyne
It is just a light wormer. Flubenvet will do a more thorough job, treating large roundworm, caecal worm, hairworm and gizzard worm and gapeworm and large tapeworm in a double dose. mand and family
Thanks egluntine can I use them at the same time?
Lewis
I haven't used xeno 200, but if I were you I'd just use the flubenvet, as it is more effective, and will mean they won't be overdosed on anything.
Egluntyne
I'd be disinclined to use them both at the same time, based on nothing more than a gut feeling. I'd use the Xeno 200 *not licensed for use on use in poultry in UKfirst to get rid of the lice, and then in a week or so, use the Flubenvet. LJ's Chooks
Xeno does not keep them worm free.... despite the views of my vet!!! we have found out the hard way.... a good dose of Flubenvet will though, every 3 or 4 months.
mand and family
Thanks everyone I'll give the xeno a go first then and the later the flubenvet
mostin
I'd be disinclined to use them both at the same time, based on nothing more than a gut feeling. I'd use the Xeno 200 *not licensed for use on use in poultry in UKfirst to get rid of the lice, and then in a week or so, use the Flubenvet. I do exactly that on my chooks, and they are all fine.
