...so I bought one of each! I just couldn't resist these pretty glass wasp catchers

 

 

Good job they are only a pound each in Poundland

 

Trouble is I like them on the windowsill but bought them for the new walk in run

It's one of their lampshades with chickens on, a birthday pressie from a friend. The plate that the candle (Mistletoe) is standing on is an M&S side plate from the other year, the one with the 3D chickens on, another pressie from another friend! Funnily enough, both are red/yellow and orange so go together well. I put the jar lid on top to stop the fragrance escaping

You hang them up and put some sugary liquid in through the top, it sits in a little channel in the base, where there is a big hole to let the wasps in. They don't fly down so can't get out, then drown in the sticky stuff - I think

 

The plinth on the right (50p from a local charity shop ) also has a chicken ornament on, can you see a theme

Ahh....no wonder I couldn't find it. I've been googling all sites vaguely Yankee Candle related to find one.

All looks good. I need to get some pretty wasp traps, & they are in our local Poundland. BTW I cleaned out my Flitrap yesterday and have hung it on the side of the WIR.

 

I didn't know that the Yankee candle shades went over the top of the glass jar candles

 

Egluntine & I have the same Yankee tart burner- snap!
