sunshinesupernova
I'd invest in an electric fence energizer. No saying that even if you are watching the chooks - the dog won't try again even with you there..... Unless you OWN chooks, I don't think anyone else can comprehend how attached we can get to them and that personalities are so different You shouldnt have to - but having done it once, I'm sure it's likely to try again

callyfc
Hi the girls are all fine and seem to have recovered better than me! We hightened the fence with a trellis this weekend, I havnt seen sight nor sound of the neighbour or her dog since our altication, hopefully she got the message! Ill put it all down to experience! Ain't Nobody Here
That's good news . I hope the trellis works - ours certainly stops my dog getting into the veg patch .
alih
The dog came through our next door neighbours garden and then jumped over the 4 ft fence into our garden, he then jumped into our omlet netting which is when the girls quickly hopped out!, I think the only thing that can stop this dog is the owner.Im in prestwich, where are you Alih? Cally x South near the airport! Hope the new approach works - what a nightmare!
