Low deck chairs

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for some low deckchairs. The ones that are almost on the floor that you can recline on. Preferably in sunny fabrics rather than fishing chair gloomy fabrics. They look child-sized but can hold adult weight.

The internet isn't giving me much but as the omletty people have lots of top tips so I thought I'd ask. :)

Mine came from Habitat a couple of years ago, and were nice and cheap from what I remember...

Ok, I must have bought them in the sale. I wouldn't have spent £39 on a frame. I have the fabric slings, and like an idiot, I left one set outside too long and they got mouldy, but handily I bought spares, and they are still fine. Mine haven't been out of the shed yet, because I am afeared of the rain, and we haven't gotten around to relaying the lawn this year yet.

I have a fold up 'bucket' lafuma chair. Got it in a camp shop about 15 years ago. They don't do them anymore. It's stylish enough for the living room but so with you on the comfort!

I love proper deckchairs, but these ones I'm looking for, they are portable. Backpack size sort of. So you can take them to the beach, but still have some recline rather than upright sitting.

Its the recliner I have.

It now comes in a very bice blue, & I am tempted tog et another one (so hubby, girls & I don't all argue over it!)

As I said you can replace the whole seat, the elastic & even the wooden arm rests too, once they get a bit tired.
