KateB
Hi All, I made some egg pasta yesterday (forget gym workouts for bingo wings - just knead pasta for 20 mins!) and it's now dried and in the fridge (which is where I'm assuming I should keep it??) but I don't know how long it will keep for . Does anyone else know?? Many thanks!
Mrs Frugal
I don't know Kate - when I make fresh pasta, we usually eat it the same day.
ribbons021185
Hi Kate! You can keep home made fresh pasta in the fridge for one or two days, but you can also freeze it. It freezes very well! The best way to store it is on a lightly floured kitchen towel so that it doesnt get damp, or stick. Hope that helps! Claire x

KateB
Thanks Claire, that's great. I take it I just plonk it straight into boiling water from frozen? Or do I have to defrost it first?
ribbons021185
Sorry about the late reply Kate! You can dunk it straight into boiling water and cook it just until tender as you would if it was chilled. (I won't give you a number of minutes to cook it for, as i think taste testing is best, but usually about one or two minutes extra is fine!) I bet it will be yummy!
