Lewis
I this a new thing or has she always had it? Have they been wormed recently? Blue/purple combs can be a sign of respiratory problems so you might want to book an appointment at your vets. Hopefully someone else who has had to deal with this will be in soon. Janty
I would keep an eye on her. Sorry to say that my cross breed maran developed a bluey comb just before she died. She wasn't very old either. I did a lot of reading up about it afterwards and I read somewhere that this can be a trait in certain maran crosses. As Iwescott said, it can be a sign of respiratory problems. Hope your girl is ok. Calum
No they havent been wormed recently but we will do it soon. As for how long she's had I would say a couple of months.

So has is always been blue or did it change a few months ago? It could be blue because thats what colour it should be and nothing to do with the resipratory problem. If its been You should worm them quite soon (I'd use Flubenvet) and if she still looks ill take her to the vets. Have a look here and here for info about Flubenvet
