bigmommasally Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 OH and me had a day out in London today (27th wedding anniversary) to see Carousel at the Savoy theatre. It was absolutely fantastic! I cried buckets Lesley Garrett is in it and was amazing, as are all the cast. If anyone is looking for a good show to see I would throughly recommend this one. Thats something to be proud of these days I have to say it seriously hasn't been easy at times but at the risk of being mushy I love him and next to that nothing else matters. Yes congrats on 27 years! but its heard not to cry at never walk alone! Its such a shame that people see it as a football song! It was impossible not to cry and I totally agree about it being a shame that it is seen as a football song - in the context of the show it has so much more meaning.
