PurpleTree
Has anyone been recently? We happen to be in Harrogate staying with the in-laws the week that it's on. Hubby fancies going and taking the kids. Has anyone any experience of going with young kids (4 & 2) or are we just asking for trouble? Hubby went a few times when he was younger, as they lived in walking distance of the ground, it's been something he's wanted to do again for a while. Any advice gratefully received. Chook n Boo Mum
We found whenever we took our littlies to shows, that a wooden garden trolley was an absolute godsend & much easier to wield than a buggy over fields. Ours is a cross between the two on here, it's bigger than the chuck wagon & more robust like the cage one, but the removeable sides are more like pallets...and didn't cost the price of the cage one either!! Can't get a pic at the mo as it's buried behind bikes etc!! http://www.ukdogguards.co.uk/garden-trolleys.html This may not be an option if you are travelling to visit family etc as well as the show as they are quite bulky....convince Grandad that the children would love to play with one if he keep it at his house!!! Ours still drag it out on occasion for a game Even once the children were too big to sit in it & be trawled around, we still took it to shows to carry the vast quantity of toot we always take and accumulate in the course of one of these days !!! Hope they have a great day! I'm hoping to go to Ardingly at the end of next week Sha x
