laurmurf
Hi all, we're on day 10 of Babs and Willow sitting on the lovely fertile eggs we got from Temple Newsam. So far we've lost 4 of the 12 eggs after candling them today. One Scots Grey had an embryo that died at about a week from what i can see, and 2 wyandottes and one Marsh Daisy that were clear. I'm really worried about one of my Naked Necks - we're not too sure but putting it back under to see if we've misread the candling I had fertile 'farm' eggs that were lost to really thin shells. One had a cracked shell at day 7 so opened it up to see what a developing chick looked like. it was absolutely fascinating seeing the developing 'spider web' and air pocket: we took some photos that i'll load later. so hopefully the remaining 8 eggs will all go under Babs in the eglu and should hatch on or around 24th June (is anyone at all surprised that mostin 'might' stop by for 'a coffee' that day? )

Yorkshire Pudding
Does it count as COF if you've hidden it up your jumper?
